dead mouse unable to type in password on imac

What a drag ! You might be able to set your keyboard up to emulate a mouse( for some basic functions) or you could just find/buy and use a usb mouse( any usb mouse, it doesn’t matter) … i don’t exactly know what model or year of mac you have… so can’t say if you’d need a usb-c to usb-a adapter or not… this Apple link explains more : https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204434
