I have a newly refurbished iMac (early 2019) and trying to go through startup menu. Mouse and keyboard are not paired, and it appears I can't begin or complete startup menu without a wired keyboard. Is this the case?
Yes you will need a USB keyboard and mouse to do the initial setup, then pair your old wireless keyboard and mouse.
