Hi,

To properly cancel your AppleCare+, first confirm the following:

Agreement Type

  • AppleCare+ PUF: two years of contract coverage for the affected device.

If you purchased AC+ PUF for the device, contact Apple Support to cancel the agreement.

  • AppleCare+ monthly: coverage for the affected device that bills on a monthly basis to your Apple ID, and has no set expiration date.

If you purchased AppleCare+ monthly, and have the agreement linked to your Apple ID within Subscription Settings, you may cancel the agreement directly within Settings. If you do not see the agreement in your Settings, contact Apple Support to cancel the agreement.

Settings > Name > Subscriptions > AppleCare+ > Cancel Subscription.

  • AppleCare+ Services: coverage for the affected device provided through your carrier. This bills on a monthly basis for two years of contract coverage, and is charged to your phone bill.

For AppleCare Services cancellations, contact your carrier for further support.

  • AppleCare+ iUP: two years of contract coverage for the affected device that is included with your iPhone’s financing agreement/loan.

AppleCare+ iUP will require you to contact Apple Support to cancel the agreement.

Keep in mind, cancelling your AC+ for iPhone apart of the upgrade program disqualifies you from being eligible to upgrade.
