Can I use the Apple Pencil first generation with the ipad mini 6th generation?

No. The 6th generation iPad Mini is compatible with the second generation Apple Pencil only.


The physical charging port on the iPad prevents such a thing, since the first generation Apple pencil requires a Lightning port to pair and charge and the 6th generation iPad mini does not have a Lightning port.
