Touch ID Missing in System Preferences

I recently bought a new 27' iMac desktop computer and ordered it with the magic keyboard with Touch ID. I have been trying to setup the Touch ID feature on the keyboard but there is no Touch ID icon in system preferences. How do I find or download Touch ID so I can complete setup?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

Touch ID is only available for M1 Mac computers, not Intel Mac computers like your 27-inch iMac.
