how to remove family sharing

It appears that family sharing is enabled on my phone, and I didn't enable it. How do I remove it?

That depends. How did it get enabled if you didn’t enable it? The family organizer invites people to join a family group, and before you are added to the family group you must accept the invitation. Or are you the family organizer? In that case you must have set it up.

The only other possibility is that you bought a used phone that was not properly reset. If that is the case you have much bigger problems than family sharing.

If you are over 18 you can remove yourself from a family group→Leave Family Sharing - Apple Support
