Sort playlist alphabetically on iPhone

I've read on a few posts that sorting a playlist alphabetically on your iPhone is not possible. This really is a huge hassle. Allowing us to sort alphabetically is a very simple update. It takes me a very long time to sort manually after adding a dozen new songs on my phone. Is this an update in the works?
