I need to transfer SIM information from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 13 max. I tried to use eSIM but I get an “oops” message… how can I I transfer eSIM without an error?

You have a working physical SIM card in your iPhone 8. You can remove the SIM card from your iPhone 8 and install it in your new iPhone 13 Pro Max. This will transfer the active cellular service from your iPhone 8 to your iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The other option is to contact your carrier and ask them to start service on your iPhone 13 Pro Max by either issuing a new SIM card to your or by activating an eSIM on your iPhone 13 Pro Max. NOTE: For an eSIM you will need instructions from your carrier and will not be able to set it up on your own.
