To install iTunes it said I needed to download Mac OS version 10.10.5 and to install that I have to have OS X version 10.10??? which I can't find

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Community system identified you're running macOS 11.2, that's Big Sur.

Since Catalina (10.15) iTunes has been replaced by Finder and Music apps. See What happened to iTunes? - Apple Support

Now Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support


iTunes is still available for Windows.
