Your profile shows you have an iPhone 6s. However, if you have attempted to update it and it shows that it is up to date with iOS 12.5.5, then you have an iPhone 6, which cannot be updated past iOS 12.5.5. It does not have the hardware necessary to support the newer iOS. If you need the newer iOS, then you will have to purchase a newer device that supports it.
