Don’t press on it.
Just go to the iTunes Store, App Store, or Apple Store App, pick something, and buy it. It will automatically use your balance to make the purchase. There’s nothing else you need to do.

The problem is when I press on it I get a screen that says redeem or add money
Just buy anything from the iTunes Store, App Store or Apple Store App, and it will automatically pay with the balance.
How do I use the funds in my apple account to pay?
