Reinstalling Catalina on 2013 Macbook Pro after erasing it

I've erased my Mac according to the directions from Apple, to ready it for resale, using disc utility. According to the directions, once that was finished I should be able to reinstall the system software. However, it asks for a wifi connection, and even though the connection shows (and is active) it won't allow me to connect to my wifi, so I'm unable to reinstall the software. What can I do?

One must Manually Input the Wifi Password for the connection to function.

For best results, connect to the Router via an Ethernet Cable and avoid the wifi issue.
