Why is my predictive text in Spanish when I’ve only enabled English and emoji keyboards?

I have two keyboards selected : English and emoji. Yet the predictive text too often gives me Spanish words, even when the English predictive is obvious. Example: entire -> entiende

I don’t want Spanish, only English. What do I need to do?

Go to the Dictionary settings and make sure that Spanish is turned off and only English is on.
