I have a brand new watch ... the charge doesn't even last 24 hours. Is this normal?

I have a brand new Apple Watch. The charge is not even lasting 24 hours after I fully charge it. Is this normal?

Since the most an Apple Watch is rated to last is 18 hours and that is with minimal use, one should not expect to get 24 hours on an Apple Watch.
