Battery drain and over heating

I updated my iPhone to 15.2 and I have been experiencing shortened battery life and overheating. What can be done to fix this issue.

That depends on what type of iPhone you use.

For an older type iPhone (> 6 years) ), which also affects the battery life, that may be the cause of the problem.

Consider getting the battery replaced.

A software update does not extend the battery life.


The battery can be replaced by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
