I have a question mark on a folder and it is flashing
I am trying to erase a mac book pro because I've sold it. Now a folder with a question mark is flashing.

Check the Sharing & Permissions for that folder (CMD + i) and make sure you can read and write.
Also, make sure you are not accidentally deleting files that are required by the OS.
