Purchasing Music

My Apple ID has $53 available, but when I go to purchase music, it’s not allowing me to use any of the $53?

Are you sure? Often the system will request a credit card number as verification for your Apple ID, but will charge the purchase to your Apple ID credit balance. For more information, see in here:
