For some odd reason, today there are just two Cloud folders and two hard drive folders showing in the toolbar in the Finder! What happened to all the others, that have been there for years??? The folders all still exist, but no longer are they in the sidebar, which is a royal pain, and I'm not sure how to repopulate it.

Thank you so much! I just wonder why they all disappeared, as it couldn't have been my accidentally hitting the arrow on just one sidebar, since correcting it involved my having to do it manually with every open finder window. But again, thanks for letting me know how to correct it!
Pass your pointer over the word Favorites in the sidebar and observe that a right-facing > appears. Click that and the Favorites listing will be restored.
