Lost airpods

I lost my AirPods and tried to use the find my App it’s given me a location saying they’re either in or very near to my house but it says they were last used at 3am, I didn’t use my AirPods at all last night and the rest of my family were asleep so I’m not sure what’s going on. The AirPods are practically fully charged and so is the case I just can’t seem to find them anywhere in my house

Hello,

If your AirPods are out of Bluetooth range, out of charge, or in the case with the cover closed, Find My won't give a current location. You just have to find them manually by looking for them. However, Find My may list the most recent location where they were last connected. Note: with iOS 15 other Apple devices can sometimes help to locate missing devices.

Good luck.

Troubleshooting Lost AirPods:

If Find My is Not Working, here are Some Thoughts:

A. Backtrack your Locations:

Do it the olde fashioned way and backtrack your locations. For instance, if you were at a retail store, then stop in, asking the store manger if it was placed aside.

B. Lost-&-Found:

Chick with the Lost & Found department of the facility you were in, seeing if it has been handed over.

C. Contact Local Authorities:

See if the community police, or local security guards at the front door, can across it.

D. Use Craigslist:

Put a post on Craigslist, seeing if they have been found.
