just bought Apple TV 4K and the guy in shop said it includes a hdmi cable and I didn’t need to buy when I asked but searching online looks like it doesn’t? Do I need to buy separately? Thanks

You may have been misinformed. An HDMI cable is not included in the package. You’ll have to buy one separately, at the length required for your setup.
