Apple TV

After updating to the last update, my Apple TV WIFI connectivity speed has dropped tremendously. Does anyone else have this issue and if so, other than doing a factory reset, is there any cure?

Thanks for reaching out through the Apple Support Communities about that Wi-Fi difficulty after updating your Apple TV.


Does that persist if you temporarily move your Apple TV to another location? That may help rule out wireless interference as a contributing factor: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference


How about after restarting your Apple TV? Restart Apple TV


Have you had the opportunity to restart your router? You may need to contact the manufacturer, or your internet service provider if your router was provided by them, to get assistance with that process.



Should that behavior still persist, you’ll want to reach out to Apple Support so they can look into this behavior further: Contact Apple Support
