Computer stuck at new software update, won’t restart

Hello, I just tried updating my Mac software to ‘Monterey’ and now it’s stuck and update won’t fully complete. I was wondering if I can go back and cancel this update somehow?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14
