I wouldn't worry about just leaving it until it hits 100%. There's no worries about overcharging. If you leave it connected to power, it will eventually stop charging the battery when it's full. So leaving it on overnight or not won't make a difference since it stops charging the battery anyways.

Should be fine. It will automatically select 5V and there's no worry about overcurrent as that's controlled by the phone's charging circuitry.
