Your 2010 iMac can only run up to macOS 10.13 High Sierra.

Logic Pro requires a newer iMac that can run macOS 11 or later.

No the iMac can only be used as a display for certian older Mac models.

At this point, you will have to weigh the options

M1 iMac ⚖️ M1 Mac Mini w/external display

If your 2010 iMac is 27" there are reports that it will work as a display, despite what Apple says:

Use your iMac as a display with target display mode - Apple Support

You will need a USB-C to Mini DisplayPort cable from one of the new computer's Thunderbolt/USB-C ports.
