I accidentally deleted the maps app on my iPhone. I am able to open the app through the App Store but I want to redownload the app on my phone. Is there any why I can redownload it? When I look at the App Store, it just says “OPEN” but I want to download the app on my phone again.

If the button says “Open” you didn’t delete it, you just removed it from your Home screen. Go to the App Library (the last page of the Home screen) where you can find it and drag it back to wherever you want it on your Home screen.

You’re welcome. When Apple added the App Library they also changed the default setting for deleting apps to Don’t Allow (in Screen Time settings) to make it harder to delete an app accidentally. If you really want to delete an app now you have to change that setting.
