Photos not uploading to iCloud

I’ve subscribed to the 200GB iCloud+ and turned on iCloud Photos. It started uploading photos into the iCloud storage for approx. 2 hours (‘til it reached 11GB, then it stopped. I made sure the WiFi is connected and stable, I even checked the connection via Speedtest.net, but nothing worked.

I'm having a similar problem. All the settings are correct as you pointed out. Uploads from my iPhone stopped uploading on Jan 9th. The photo library is stuck on "Uploading 1 file" and is not Paused. I Paused and then Un-Paused to see if it was stuck. Any photo that I right-click on my computer and save to Photos goes to the cloud, it's just my iPhone (6S) that doesn't seem to be connecting or the cloud is being picky as to where the files come from. ??

Hi there copi171,

From what we can tell, you upgraded your iCloud storage plan, but not all your photos and videos are uploading to iCloud afterwards. We're glad you're here, and we can help.

Let's start by making sure the upload isn't paused. What do you see for the upload status of your photos when you open the Photos app, select the Library tab, tap All Photos, then scroll to the very bottom? Have a look at the 'How do I check the status of my uploads or downloads to iCloud Photos?' section in this link to learn more:

If your uploads appear to be paused, you'll want to be sure Low Power Mode is turned off in Settings > Battery, and then connect to a reliable Wi-Fi network with good signal strength to allow the upload to complete.

"When you turn on iCloud Photos, the time it takes for your photos and videos to upload to iCloud depends on the size of your collection and your internet speed. If you have a large collection of photos and videos, your upload might take more time than usual." Have a look at the 'Pause library uploads to iCloud' section of this link for more information:

Set up and use iCloud Photos

We hope this information is helpful. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.

Hey Sparks, thanks for your reply. My uploads weren’t paused and I have stable internet connection via WiFi and all. However for the past few days I noticed that the photos are uploading in batches. For example in the morning it would upload a total of 10GB, then it stops for a period of time (usually 6-7 hours, maybe more) then it would continue to upload after that, also in a certain amount of GB. Is there somesort of daily upload limit, or perhaps its just because the iCloud servers are high in traffic therefore the uploads are stunted? If so, any suggestions to fix it?
