I have macOS Monterey and an Epson Artisan 710 printer/scanner. Info says the driver needs to be updated but Epson has not updated app. What to do now?

Epson last updated the scanner (ICA) drivers in Jan 2021, and the printer drivers in Nov 2020. Those were likely for Big Sur, though Epson also shows them for macOS 12.*. You can install these, and see if the Artisan 710 is recognized by Monterey, and Apple's Image Capture can be used with the scanner.

For the printer drivers to be recognized, you need to right-click on the Artisan 710 icon in the Printers & Scanners panel and choose Reset print system… from the secondary menu. You re-add the Epson 710 printer drivers from the panel that appears and then click Add. See if you can then print. There may also be a scanner setup on that Printer & Scanner panel, or under options.

Although the Artisan 730 is supported by Apple's built-in AirPrint, the 710 model is not.
