I've just bought a MacBook (already own an iPhone and iPad). I've just logged in and there are three Apple ID's, two of which I assume have been created accidentally as part of the set up process.
I understand that deleting an Apple ID is final, but how can I tell which one is the original ID and which are the new IDs?

You are welcome. The photo didn't post. If the log in screen, go to System Preferences/Users & Groups, select your account, and you should be able to change it there. Putting the cursor over the picture should show an Edit option.

Which ID is used on the iPhone and iPad? That should be the original ID.
I don’t know - two of the IDs have the same name so I don’t know which of them is the original
If they have the same email address, they are the same Apple ID. You can only use an email address on one Apple ID.
Thank you, it looks as though they have the same email address, so can you tell me how to remove two of the “log in pictures “ sorry - don’t know what the correct term is.
