And there is never going to be complete certainty, particularly against a well-funded or persistent adversary.

Reset your device, install only the apps you need, update all of your passwords including your password-reset paths and your cellular provider PIN, use unique passwords, check for unexpected sharing settings, learn how not to get phished, keep patched to current, etc.

I couldn’t see how to edit my answer. I meant to say at the end of my comment that these psychos could be prosecuted & there would finally be an end to the **** some people go through when others don’t get their way.
