When I share websites or notes, it no longer shows recent contacts in the first line above “Airdrop Messages Mail …” It now only shows Discord channels, but it definitely used to show recent message contacts.
I currently use an iPhone 13 on the latest iOS. But this was happening with my previous 8 Plus before I upgraded.

I randomly found a setting that fixed it. In Settings >> Messages >> Siri & Search, it had “Learn from this App” turned off. When I turned that on, they reappeared. I also saw this setting could be reached from Settings >> Siri & Search >> Messages.

It will show what you have recently. You stop communicating using Discord then over time it will stop showing you Discord as an option.
How frequently you use an app and with whom is learned quickly by Siri and will suggest you based on that.
This is not correct. I haven’t messaged in Discord in weeks, and I text every day. The recent text recipients never show up anymore.
