I have spent 3 hours deleting emails on my gmail account! some these emails date back to 2020! is there any way to delete them PERMANENTLY? they keep recurring ! and it’s VERY FRUSTRATING

I would like to know if there is ANY way to delete emails PERMANENTLY on my gmail account …I delete them from both trash and junk but they keep showing up! I am very frustrated .today it took me 3 hours! they keep recurring …what am I doing wrong!?
