Hi, I’m having some trouble with trying to upload photos from my phone to iCloud,
I have iCloud photos turned on and when I go to photos on my Mac at the bottom is says uploading x amount of photos with the option to pause however no photos seem to be transferring to iCloud despite trying this for
24 hours
any ideas on how to get these photos across😰

How big is your library. iCloud sync is very slow and the first thing it does is spend time comparing the iCloud library with your local library. if your library is large this can take many days (or even weeks) even with the Mac on 24/7, so it may just be a case of letting it get on with it, leaving your mac on 24/7, connected to power, with photos open and sleep disabled.
For reference, my 50GB 5000 item library took 48 full time hours.
