Why isn't my touch bar changing with the apps? Why does it look like the default touch bar?

I did some searching and this is how to fix this. Go to settings, keyboard, and find "Touch Bar shows". If the drop down bar is is on "Expanded Control Strip" change it to "App Controls" and make sure the "Show Control Strip" check box is on and you are all good to go. Hope this helps!

Try making changes, test... then come back to your preferred settings.
