MacBook Air does not start

My MacBook Air has been charging for 3 days and will not start.

FYI, You really should provide the exact model of your Mac when asking for assistance because some Macs require different advice.


If this is an Intel Mac, then try an SMC Reset.


Unplug the charger from the electrical outlet for a minute to reset the charger's internal circuitry.


Try the tips found in these Apple articles (select the appropriate article depending on the exact model Mac you have):

If your MagSafe cable or power adapter isn't working - Apple Support


If your USB-C power adapter isn't charging your Mac notebook - Apple Support


If these things don't help, then have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop.
