Face ID

So for the last few months my Face ID doesn’t work, I’ve tried resetting it but it just says ‘move iPhone lower/higher’ whenever I try to set it up. Sometimes it says “Face ID not available” but not always. My phone is up to date and I’ve tried restarting it with the sound switch up and still the same problem. Please help

Follow all steps here If an alert says Face ID has been disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support
