about a year ago i had an iphone xs, i set up a passcode and sold the device after a factory reset with some months of use, now i got an iphone 13 and i cannot remember that old iphone passcode that apple Id is requesting to complete initial config, any ideas?

See if you can recover the ID/password. Use every email address you can think of.

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
If you see an option to reset encrypted data, several people have posted that they did that and lost little to no data.
