How do i connect to apple tv with no remote

I just revelry found a apple tv gen 2 and there’s no remote for it whenever I try to connect my phone to use the remote it asks me to go to settings and get a code but i can’t because there is no remote for me to do this.

You can't. You'll need to replace the remote.
