Can you reset your passcode without having to reset and lose everything on your phone? My daughter's phone is not backed up on the Cloud. Thank you!

No, the restore process will erase the phone. You will need to restore the device using a computer. The process will erase the device. Later you can restore your data from a recent back-up. Instructions in the blue link above your name on this page.
