Apple ID Using Large Amounts of Data

My iPhone (both my previous 7 Plus and my new 11 Pro) has been using large amounts of data (300 mb in one night). When I look at what is using the data, Apple ID Services is what is using it all. I’ve tried shutting off iCloud, Cellular App Updates under 200 mb, and everything else I’ve seen related to Apple ID services, but nothing has fixed the issue. What do I do?

I have a no-contract data and phone plan with Tracfone and so I’m wasting money buying more data. I’ve never had this issue before a few months ago. I am currently on the latest iOS as well.

Hey VANISHEDKING,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We recommend ensuring that both iPhones are up to date with the latest versions of iOS: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then check for any carrier updates using these steps: Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If there are no updates available, the next step is to reach out to Apple Support directly for a closer look: Contact - Official Apple Support

Take care.
