Troubleshooting Mac Update Errors:
Try the following...
A. Create a Temporary Admin:
See what happens when you use a new administrator to install this. If it works, then there is an error in your current user. So, let it update with this current user, then trash this new user once all is updated.
B. Update in Safe Mode:

C. Use Ethernet:
