What version of Microsoft Word / Outlook do you have?

You can get the 64 bit update to Microsoft Office 2016 here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/update-office-for-mac-automatically-bfd1e497-c24d-4754-92ab-910a4074d7c1?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us

Otherwise, you will need to purchase a new version of Microsoft Office from Microsoft's website:

Or subscribe to the 365 version form the Mac App Store.

For Garmin, other Apps, check the developers websites for new versions.

Google the owners of Picasa discontinued it several years ago. There is no longer a version of Picasa that can be used on newer macOS versions. You will need to find a replacement for it or use Google's online Photo service. https://www.macworld.co.uk/feature/free-photo-editor-mac-3514061/
