Macbook Air M1 2020 bluetooth connectivity problems

Has anyone else experienced bluetooth connectivity problems with Macbook Air M1 (not seeing other devices, generally)? Any fixes or news on software updates to fix (am on 11.6)? Thanks.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

Howdy Albrit,

We understand you're looking for assistance with your MacBook Air not seeing other devices via Bluetooth at times, right?

Let's first confirm that you're updated to the latest supported macOS version to see if that may help to clear this up. If you are able to update, you'll want to be sure you have a recent backup of information. For assistance with these steps, check them out here: Update macOS on Mac

Before you get started, it's a good idea to back up your Mac. Then follow these steps to find and install any available software updates or upgrades.

1. From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose System Preferences.
2. In the System Preferences window, click Software Update.

If your System Preferences doesn't include Software Update, learn how to upgrade to macOS Monterey or upgrade to an older macOS, and use the Updates tab of the App Store app to get app updates.
3. Click Update Now or Upgrade Now:
* Update Now installs the latest updates for the currently installed version, such as an update from macOS Big Sur 11.5 to macOS Big Sur 11.6.
* Upgrade Now installs a major new version with a new name, such as macOS Monterey. Software Update shows only upgrades that are compatible with your Mac.

If that doesn't take care of this, let's check to see if there are any potential Bluetooth wireless interferences if this occurs occasionally. For help with that, check out the following resource: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference

If you still need further assistance, could you let us know if this occurs with multiple devices, or is this only occurring with specific devices?

Have a great day!
