I am frustrated by the fact that my teen can bypass the screen time limits. Is there any way I can limits or outright prevent my teen from downloading apps (like Tik Tok andSnapchat- that are addicting)? I am left with either taking the phone away altogether or installing a third party app. Has anyone found ways to do this successfully?

On his iPhone:
Settings>ScreenTime>Content&Privacy Restrictions>Itunes&AppStore Purchases... the first 3 options must be set to "don't allow".
When done, restart the device
