When I first got my watch, if I raised my wrist, it would show the time. Now, I have to press the button in order to see the time. Why?

Settings > Display & Brightness > Wake on Wrist Raise

Referring to Use Control Center on your Apple Watch, is "Theater Mode" enabled?
