Depending on the year, you may need to use a simple passthrough port adapter, but Apple's SuperDrive is compatible with Apple's MacBooks Air & Pro.

More recent Macs may require USB-C adapter.

There is only one model available. Look it up for yourself.
there were a few revisions of Apple SuperDrive... and just the newest works with Macbook 12.
And, the newest one is the has been the only one available from Apple for at least the last 5 years.
