I just replaced my 10 year old MacBook Air with a MacBook Pro. I find that nothing happens when I attempt to log out via the Apple 🍎 - log out command. Using the Lock Screen option does log me out. Is there a setting I need to adjust?

Try restarting your mac.
If the problem persists:
Test to see if the same problem happens in Safe Mode, and let us know if it also happens in Safe Mode; then restart normally; is it fixed?
