Hi Fishy,

Assuming this is the new Siri remote that normally controls the TV’s volume via HDMI CEC:

-AppleTV box including the Siri remote is updated to the latest OS?

-Reboots have been tried?

-The Siri remote is otherwise properly controlling functions on the AppleTV(pairing is good)?

-Has the remote been charged in the last few months? (It might be worth giving it a charge)

-You have CEC enabled on your TV?

Check this Apple Support document out. There’s also links on it if you aren’t using CEC.
