Numbers App used on Ipad

Data will not sort correctly after creating pivot table. Dates are formatted correctly but are sorted as numbers.

try this…

make sure to have a cell in your pivot tab selected

then click the button to modify your pivot table (circle with three lines in it)

down in the rows section, tap the Little “i” next to your date field

on that screen that pops up make sure name is selected.

the system is smart enough to know that name with dates isn’t alphabetical it’s by date.
