2nd MacBook same Apple ID??

I have just gotten a (refurbished) MacBook- I already have a MacBook Air but as I’m going to be working on a project and found a deal I picked up this one.

As I will be the only person using the 2nd MacBook AND as I will need to download a few apps from the AppStore I really wanted to use my current Apple ID.

I haven’t tried it yet so I don’t know if it will work or not. I have searched and seen different answers. Hopefully I will get consistent answers on here telling me yea or nay and if nay what my options are.

It should work fine. In fact it is recommended to keep the same Apple ID across different devices you own and you alone use.


So, yes go ahead and use the same Apple ID there's nothing wrong with that.
