Can't Clear Stuck Notifications MacOS

Hi,

I seem to have a problem with some notifications in Notification Centre being 'stuck.'

Some notifications do not respond to the Clear All or X buttons.

This does not happen all of the time and there seems to be no pattern as to which apps do this and which do not.

The only way to get rid of these notification(s) is to quit and restart Notifications Centre using Activity Monitor, which seems to clear the stuck notification(s).

I have tried resetting the NV/PRAM and SMC Control, but this does not remedy the issue.

Any ideas Apple hive mind?

To trouble shoot further you can:

—SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Takes a bit longer to get to the login screen, does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
